Mogensen Raw Materials Handling has received an order for a 3-metre wide sizer and a matching vibratory spreader feeder from the largest producer of cement and aggregates in Bolivia
Mogensen Raw Materials Handling has received an order for a 3-metre wide Mogensen Sizer, Type S3056, and a matching vibratory spreader feeder, Type F3005C, from the largest Bolivian producer of cement and aggregates, Coboce Irpa Irpa, based in Cochabamba The sizer, which was displayed at Hillhead 2005, and the feeder are required for delivery in December 2005

The Mogensen equipment will be working in closed circuit with a Metso Barmac B7150SE DD VSI crusher and will take a total feed of 259tph of 0 - 30mm crushed alluvial gravel taken from a dry river bed, the duty being to extract either 79tph of 5mm concrete sand or alternatively 64tph of 3mm mortar sand.
The customer will change the mesh combination fitted to the sizer between production runs to achieve the two different results.
In view of the need for operational mesh changing a major attraction of the sizer for this customer was the ease and rapidity, with which that operation can be carried out.
Mogensen already has a Type S3056 Sizer working at Inacesa, the state-owned cement producer, in neighbouring Chile.
Both machines are fully dust-proofed and fully lined with Arbro wear-resistant steel plate.
The S3056 Sizer, the largest Mogensen model, is driven by two counter-rotating, Invicta rotary electric vibrators Type BLz 60-105/6, each rated at 6200 watts.
The feeder is fitted with two Type Blz 40-27/6 vibrators each rated at 1800 watts.
