Mobility systems used by field service operations
A survey shows that 90% of service organisations fail to deploy effective field mobility solutions, and half don't give their field workers access to their service management system at all!
The partnership is the latest in a series of agreements Momote has established with leading industry specialists to ensure it can provide the best end-to-end solution possible for end users, and harnesses the Momote 'Cross Platform, Cross Network, Cross Environment' strategy.
By offering a complete solution from development to deployment, together with device management, Momote offers an alternative to development-only tools and expensive managed services, allowing its customers to create 'self-managed' applications that provide a fast ROI and a lower cost of ownership.
Momote uses agile techniques to accommodate changes during the development process, allowing organisations to respond to dynamic market developments and business needs at the speed their business requires.

Graham Whistance, MD of Momote comments: "Partnerships with industry experts like Fleetwood mean that we can offer customers something that truly sets them apart from their competitors.
The bespoke nature of Momote solutions means that they can integrate seamlessly with existing systems and processes meaning ROI is achieved in the most rapid time possible.
Aside from a high cost of ownership, traditional off-the shelf applications can prove to be a false economy once the necessary modifications to work flow have taken place to fit its format.
In contrast, a fully tailored application 'hits the ground running' and provides ROI from day one, making it a very attractive proposition".
John Clarfelt, MD of Fleetwood says: "Momote solutions help its customers to optimise business processes, maximise revenue generation and create competitive advantage through service innovation.
In partnership with our technology, we can offer solutions which vastly improve business processes in industries with mobile workforces".
Momote mobile applications can be deployed on virtually any device with little or no modification of code, including mobile phones, Blackberry, Pocket PC and Palm OS devices.
This offers organisations the flexibility to select a device based on their genuine needs, rather than being dictated to by a software provider preferences and also accelerates implementation timescales, providing a much faster ROI.
Other companies with which Momote has formed partnerships include Zebra, Motorola, Opticon and Symbol.
Working alongside Zebra and ETMSS, Fleetwood and Momote have already deployed a ticketing system with Courtney Coaches, a Berkshire based bus fleet operator.
As a result, Courtney Coaches has experienced significantly improved business efficiencies in the form of reduced costs and maintenance as well as vehicle tracking, and its customers have received a better service.
