GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) is a superb material for the process industries, with excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemical contaminants, but lighter and significantly cheaper than stainless steel Hawke's new GRP enclosures are available for ProfibusPA or Foundation Fieldbus systems with capacities for 4-, 8- and 10-spurs in general purpose applications or any hazardous area (carrying a full suite of European and US approvals)

Uniquely, Hawke's device couplers are supplied complete with Hawke cable glands for non-armoured cable, with armoured cable and offshore specification glands as simple options.

All glands are ready fitted with weatherproof seals, ready for immediate use with whatever mix of used and unused ports are required.

Internally, the Device Couplers offer either passive (fused) or active (electronic) spur short-circuit protection, and in the active units, fully automatic segment termination!.

Hawke Device Couplers are designed for easy and fast implementation of fieldbus systems, allowing simple engineering design, procurement and site handling.
