M.A.C Solutions (UK) has been appointed as UK distributor of Beijer Electronics products, which includes HMIs (human machine interfaces) and industrial panel PCs

Following the recent acquisition of German HMI supplier Lauer Electronic Systems by Beijer Electronics, M.A.C Solutions (UK) is now in a strong position to offer UK vertical sectors the complete range of Beijer products This includes the award-winning 'Exter' technology for keypads and touch panels from 3.5 up to 15 inches

The 'H-Series' is flexible HMI functionality that enables users to pay only for the level of HMI technology that they require.

Keypads and touch panels are available from 3 inches up to 10.4 inches.

Continuing support for the established 'Cimrex' product range, including simple migration to the latest Exter panels will be provided from the M.A.C Solutions Redditch office.

For the UK marine industry, M.A.C Solutions can now offer a range of LCD displays and PCs for on-board ship applications that meet both Lloyds Register and DNV Certification standards.

The range includes HMIs, monitors, embedded PCs and panel PCs.

The 'Nautic' range of rugged, compact monitors and PCs have their own in-built vibration damping elements, which ensure that hard drives and internal Compact Flash cards can perform their tasks without being affected by vibration or a system breakdown.

The display fronts have also been modified using a single aluminium structure.

The monitors also incorporate a special 'dimming' feature for night operations.

The Nautic range exceeds all the necessary electromagnetic compatibility tests for the marine industry and are resistant to jamming and other radio frequency interference.

The units are tested for compass safety distance; noise emissions; shock and vibration resistance in all axes; resonant frequency; and are resistant to temperature fluctuations and damp conditions.
