Wherever cooling towers are used to maintain a supply of cool, clean water, then the Marley Plan Service Agreement can maintain the integrity of associated production or process applications

The service is provided by the Marley Cooling Tower company, who have over 70 years experience in design and manufacture, as well as being the world's largest supplier of cooling towers A Marley Plan agreement is designed to minimise shutdowns, eliminating conditions of high or uncontrollable water temperatures, which can seriously compromise production schedules

It operates on the principle that prevention is better than cure, and covers an initial full overhaul of all cooling tower equipment, with the supply and fitting of genuine factory replacement parts as required.

This also includes superficial and deep cleaning of the complete tower, with optional full water treatment services and Legionella testing conforming to approved Code of Practice L8.

This is followed by twice yearly diagnostic inspections and performance measurements with a detailed inspection and report on tower conditions every year (subject to plan specification).

A full service log book is also created, maintained and updated after every service visit.

Service agreements can be provided to cover 1, 3 or 5 year plans, with all work undertaken by fully trained technicians to provide fault diagnosis and fast rectification to minimise unscheduled production downtime.

A rapid response service for breakdowns is also provided, together with monthly visits if required.

Agreements can be tailored to suit the exact customer requirements, covering all aspects of cooling tower infrastructure as well as water quality.

The regular servicing ensures that cooling tower performance is kept at an optimum level with a corresponding extension in useful working life.

Units installed 30 years ago are still in operation, providing long term savings with the cost of supplying cooling water kept at minimum levels.
