The new Meterman PM5X Series Pocket Meters are all auto-ranging DMMs with CAT III 300V safety ratings.
The entry-level PM51 Pocket Meter has a 4000-count resolution when measuring DC voltage, AC voltage, capacitance, resistance and frequency.
It also offers diode test and continuity with an audible signal.
The top-of -the-range PM55 Automatic Precision Pocket Meter has a 6000-count resolution and measures DC and AC current, in addition to all the measurement functions of the PM51.
A unique AutoTect feature within the PM55 automatically directs the meter to read AC volts, DC volts or resistance without the user needing to choose between these functions.
Another in-built feature, VolTect, provides non-contact voltage detection, with an audible signal, of potentially dangerous live wiring.
The mid-range Meterman PM53 Automatic Pocket Meter has similar functionality to the PM55, but without current measurement.
All models come with two test leads, an installed battery and operating instructions.
The PM55 comes with a deluxe carrying case, which is an optional extra for the other two models.
The PM55 and PM53 have a protective holster, which is optional for the PM51.
Recommended prices are GBP19, GBP24 and GBP33 for the PM51, PM53 and PM55 respectively.
