It's time for 'rack and rail' guiding systems
In the handling and automation industry ever increasing use is being made of linear guiding systems with additional special features: Monorail BZ35 gives a combination of quality and economy
The new LP-plus is extremely precise and the reduced backlash of just 8 arcminutes achieved by the single-stage version in size 70 and larger is similarly impressive.
When it comes to motor mounting, the predecessor LP already defined a yardstick in terms of reliability and simplicity.
This proven, successful and patented system has been retained.
The permanent lubrication is maintenance-free and independent of the installation position.
Customers are thus assured the essential creative freedom to produce unique and efficient machine designs.
LP-plus is complemented by the cleverly constructed LPB-plus.
The various mounting options on the output side provide a perfect starting point for designs that reduce the number of parts, cut logistics costs and further enhance the overall machine concept.
Although the output shaft is tailored primarily to belt applications, it also acts as a universal interface in the machine design, allowing premier machines to be developed economically and in record time.
The main features of this upgrade are:.
* Low backlash option available down 33%.
* Improved price v performance ratio.
* Improved torsional rigidity.
* Improved smoother running.
* Improved torque by up to 12%.
* Improved noise level.
The LPB-plus also offers the option of adding an integrated-geared pulley drive system where the belt pulley eliminates the need for a right angle gearbox, couplings or additional bearings.
This solution provides not only increased performance, a reduction in cost by reducing parts and engineering time for the system.
The gear reducers achieve more than 95% efficiency at full load.
The two-stage reducer restricts torsional backlash to less than 10 arcminutes, while the single-stage version operates at fewer than 8 arcminutes.
These excellent gear drives are an industry innovator for motion control products and used extensively throughout manufacturing in automated machines for the printing, packaging, food processing, machining and medical industries.
