Industrial Purification Systems has won a second Knowledge Transfer Partnership grant of GBP200,000 to take water filter technology to greater depths in the field of water heat transfer systems.
If a product is to be successful in this market, it needs to meet stringent requirements in terms of quality and performance - something that the 3500 series of digital pressure controllers from Marsh Bellofram is specifically designed to do.
With the ability to control air pressure to within 0.25% (typical), these advanced micro-processor controlled units feature an integrated controller and booster contained within a single waterproof housing.
They come complete with free Microsoft Windows based software, making the unit fully PC programmable via an RS485 link.
Entirely shock resistant, the 3500 series is insensitive to positional mounting and up to 8 devices can be connected on a single line.
The 3510/20 model electro-pneumatic servo pressure controller combines the advantages of reliable solenoid valves and digital control.
The 3511/21 model offers solenoid valve technology, with forward flow equivalent to standard industrial electronic regulators or I/P transducers.
The applications within the medical industry are far reaching, from angioplasty balloon manufacture to critical care respiration control.
The operating temperature range for the regulators is 0 to +60C.
Minimal air consumption is a feature of these digital pressure controllers and output pressures range up to 600 psig.
With a forward flow of 1.2 SCFM at 100 psi, model type 3510 can be employed as a stand-alone unit for many applications or in combination with a volume booster for flows in excess of 2,000 SCFM.
Marsh Bellofram also have considerable experience in manual regulators, particularly for use in oxygen-rich environments.
These can include delrin seats for extended performance, together with paint-free finishes and special materials to avoid incendiary risks associated with oxygen laden atmospheres.
