The MultiStar HSS7 sensor offers highly sensitive thermal analysis measurements.
It performs measurements down to the microwatt range - an application field that was previously the exclusive domain of microcalorimeters.
The HSS7 sensor offers numerous features including: extremely high sensitivity - detects even the weakest transitions; outstanding resolution - separates very close-lying effects; unique star-shaped arrangements of thermocouples - to guarantee flat baselines; and robustness - the ceramic surface protects the sensor against contamination.
The HSS7 is an option for the DSC822e system and is also available as an upgrade for existing DSC users.
