USP and international pharmaceutical requirements - are you in the know? Revised European Pharmacopoeia (EP) requirements for WFI and highly purified waters became effective from 1 July 2004

Revised European Pharmacopoeia (EP) requirements for WFI and highly purified waters became effective from 1 July 2004.

Pharmaceutical companies commonly work to USP 625 for purified water, and while there is increasing harmonisation between the various regulatory bodies, recent changes to the European Pharmacopoeia affect operational procedures.

Mettler Toledo is running a seminar on the topic of purified water focusing on USP and EP standards, as well as others, presented by Dr Anthony Bevilacqua - Chairman of the USP Pharmaceutical Water Expert Committee.

A world authority on conductivity and TOC measurements, Dr Bevilacqua will be arriving from Budapest where he is speaking on behalf of the USP and EP at the international conference Quality on the Move, Dynamics of the European Pharmacopoeia.

This one-day event is being held on 7 October 2004 at Durdent Court, Denham.
