The TMA/SDTA841e is the latest addition to the Mettler Toledo STARe range of thermal analysers and adds low temperature measurement capabilities to the TMA range.

The TMA/SDTA841e measures the dimensional and mechanical properties of materials as a function of temperature - for example the expansion coefficient of composite materials used in aircraft and the softening point of many polymers over the temperature range from -150C to 600C.

With a patented mechanical design and dimensional resolution of 5 nano-meters, the analyser provides the most accurate measurements.

It offers numerous features including.

* Automatic control of the cooling system.

* SDTA technology.

* New magnetic coupling for attachment of measuring probes.

* DLTMA measuring mode.
