Motiva Enterprises and Flint Hills Resources are recent beneficiaries of the MiMiC solution and the savings it provides.

Mike Homma, an engineer on the Motiva project, remarked that because of the refineries necessity to stay on-line and profitable, they have aggressive timelines for implementing new systems and software.

The previous simulation vendor was not able to deliver within the Motiva time frame, so Motiva picked Mynah Technologies, who delivered on time and successfully met the requirements for the implementation.

Homma added, "The other products cost three times as much and would have taken five times as long to implement".

Flint Hills Resources uses the Mynah Technologies MiMiC process simulation software for the operator training platform for their Unicracker unit.
