Simulation Software for Schneider Electric Unity
Mynah Technologies, a division of Experitec, announces the release of an IO and Process Simulation interface for Schneider Electric Unity Software and PLC Hardware, the mimic Unity Driver Pack
A demo will be shown at the 2006 Emerson Exchange meeting.
The Distillation Column object provides dynamic models for a full-scale distillation column configuration, including reboiler, condenser and reflux receiver.
The Stripper/Reboiled Absorber object represents the column configuration that does not have an overhead section (ie condenser and reflux receiver unit operations), but can include the reboiler / sump section.
The objects integrate directly with MiMiC simulation tags; the objects receive input variables from MiMiC and send back the results of model calculations.
The package has visualisation tools (graphs and tables) that provide users with a deep on-line insight into the object states (column pressure, flow, temperature and composition profiles and dynamics).
