The annual Weighing and Density Club event will have a food and beverage flavour this year when it is held at the Coors White Shield Brewery in Burton-upon-Trent on 18 March 2004.

Speakers from Coors Brewery and Canongate Technology will talk about density measurement in the food and beverage industry and H and D Fitzgerald Ltd will tell delegates how to choose the optimum density measurement method.

There will also be a tour of the brewery to see density measurement in action and a chance to sample the main product.

Updates from the National Physical Laboratory will focus on new hydrostatic weighing apparatus and how to decide if magnetic effects are influencing weighing processes.

Avery Weigh-Tronix will be providing important information on international developments in legal compliance.
