The agreement is based around the Newton consultative approach to analysis, involving integrating with the Celtotex shop floor team to fully analyse every part of the process, understand the issues and prioritise them in order of value to the business.
This analysis examines and measures all machinery, equipment and processes in detail to identify the key areas that need to be worked on to reduce bottlenecks.
Newton is using this analysis as the basis for three projects with Celotex designed to improve their bottom line performance without the need for capital expenditure.

The first project involves improving the performance of the key production line by reprogramming process machinery with the aim of increasing output by 15 per cent and reducing trim waste by as much as 40 per cent.
Celotex processes are being viewed as a whole, and the second project is around providing a new system and tools for utilising warehouse space.
Newton is focusing around improving the forecasting model for the warehouse to improve utilisation and enable more accurate production scheduling.
The aim of this project is for the warehouse model to become the planning tool for Celotex to automatically produce the optimum production schedule.
The model is flexible enough to allow stockholding to be continually optimised as the market changes and products are added or removed.
Newton is aiming for a 20 per cent improvement in stock capacity.
The final project is around process and is aimed at reducing an hour of downtime a day through the development of a dynamic procedure to replace a current bottleneck.
Commenting on the deal, Digby Harper, Managing Director of Celotex said: "Competition in our marketplace is fierce and we were looking for a team that could help keep our production processes at the forefront of European manufacturing output.
We were introduced to Newton by our majority equity partner, ABN Amro Capital, and they immediately impressed with both their experience and knowledge.
Their analysis has already shown us where we need to focus our efforts and we are confident they will help us to further reduce wastage and costs while driving up sales from increased production".
Andrew Hawes, Director of Newton Industrial Consultants said: "We are delighted to be working with Celotex and believe our approach of quantifying and prioritising the problems hand in hand with their team on the shop floor, means we will be able to develop long term sustainable solutions.
These solutions will ultimately deliver on the Celotex bottom line without the need for capital expenditure - our goal with all the businesses we work with".
