The recruitment workforce at specialist technical and engineering recruitment company, NES has been further enhanced with the appointment of a new consultant to its Manchester-based Head Office team.

Current demand for engineering personnel within the oil and gas industry has necessitated the appointment of Martin Whittle, who will be joining the company's process division as a specialist oil and gas recruitment consultant.

Martin graduated from Manchester University in 2003 with a degree in Chemistry, working as a testing assistant, lab analyst and food analyst before taking the decision to apply his technical experience in the recruitment industry.

Says Sarah Taylor, manager of the oil and gas division at NES: "Martin will help us to maintain the level of service our clients and candidates have become accustomed to, continuing to satisfy hiring requirements according to specific client requests.

Without this appointment we would simply not be able to meet the increasing demands that our clients, candidates and the industry as a whole are making of us.".
