CenService, a commissioning and
inspection service

CenService is a commissioning and inspection service provided by Newson-Gale to ensure customers are confident their earthing/bonding equipment is installed and maintained to a high standard

CenService engineers are trained in the installation, commissioning and regular inspection of Cenelectrex equipment On completion of commissioning or service inspections the customer is provided with a report which highlights passes or fails with the installation or issues impacting the intended performance of the equipment

If fails are detected, the report issues a set of recommendations to rectify the failure.

If possible, the CenService engineer will rectify the problem at the point of detection.

After the earthing / bonding equipment is affirmed to be in good working order, a Newson-Gale certificate is issued to the customer which can be included in the customer's Safety Report documentation.

Interestingly, one of the most common omissions in Safety Reports, enforced under the COMAH regulations, is the risk assessment of errors and misjudgement in the correct and regular maintenance of safety systems designed to reduce the risk of accidents.

One of the requirements of the Safety Report is an assessment to address the risk and impact of human error as current HSE data suggests that 80% of industrial accidents are due to human error.

CenService is provided to ensure this does not happen and reduces the burden on busy maintenance departments.
