In March 2004 North Downs Instruments became part of the M J Wilson Group of companies, one of the leading suppliers and local distributors of instrumentation, valves, fastenings and metals in the UK

North Downs Instruments announces a change of ownership and a new management team In March 2004 North Downs Instruments became part of the M J Wilson Group of companies

Since its inception in 1972, The M J Wilson Group has developed into one of the leading suppliers of instrumentation, valves, fastenings and metals in the UK.

The companies within the Group are M.J Wilson (Fastenings) Ltd, D C Marsh Instruments and North Downs Instruments.

M J Wilson have established partnerships with key manufacturers such as;- Emerson Process Management (Fisher-Rosemount), Tyco Valves and Controls, GE Druck, Bourdon-Haenni, Budenberg, Oliver Valves, Solartron Mobrey, O'Brien, HNL, RGS, Delta Fluid Products, Unistrut, Lindapter and Rawlplug to name but a few, which enable us to offer the very latest products and technology.

North Downs Instruments will continue to serve customers in and around the South East of England and as part of the Investment in the future have appointed Gareth Stephenson as Branch Manager and Mark Woodruff as Sales Manager.

Gareth transferred from the M J Wilson Grimsby office in March and Mark joined from Emerson Process Management - Rosemount in June.

They bring over 25 years of experience in the industry and look forward to maintaining the high quality service that has been built up over the years.
