Niro puts Swirl Fluidiser into their
Test Centre
Niro in Copenhagen has installed a Swirl Fluidiser in its process and product test centre, for customer evaluation trials and test batch production
The Swirl Fluidiser is trusted Niro technology that has been used widely in industry for many years to transform pastes, filter cake and highly viscous liquids into a fine, homogeneous powder in a single process step The addition of the Swirl Fluidiser to the test centre now allows Niro customers to evaluate this technique without the need to invest in the plant itself

Spray drying for novel processing of nanoparticles
Niro AS is playing an important role in what may well prove to be the start of the new industrial revolution: the production of materials and products using nanoparticles
The test centre provides full product and process evaluation to help customers' perfect products and processes while comparing Swirl Fluidisation against alternative technologies.
The test centre is also able to process batches of customer products for contract manufacturing projects.
The Niro test centre is already the largest of its kind in Europe.
It includes over 35 different pilot plants including: spray drying, freeze drying, fluid bed drying, flash drying, agglomeration, extraction, concentration and laboratory facilities.
All are available to help customers to design their products and refine processes for optimum production and product quality.
The test facility also includes a mobile Swirl Fluidiser that can be used for performing on-site tests at customers' premises.
The introduction of this new equipment into the text centre further strengthens the Niro leading role in the global chemical market.
