Buck Systems, a member of Niro Pharma Systems, has developed its own suite of software called BuckWare, for IBC tracking and dispensing software for increased productivity and better quality control.

As well as enhanced process control for its range of Blenders and an IBC wash station, Buck Systems have also developed two new software packages to help pharmaceutical manufacturers track products through the manufacturing and dispensing process: the products are called, respectively, BuckWare XT and BuckWare XD.

BuckWare XT has been developed for tracking Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) through the manufacturing process.

This provides increased product security, optimum availability, increased productivity and it reduces the amount of paperwork and the opportunities for errors to occur.

The system uses fixed and hand-held scanners to provide real-time monitoring of the progress of individual IBCs through the manufacturing process, track an entire batch of product, and keep a real-time record of available containers.

All information can be made available as required via a Local Area Network, to a discrete PC, via a PDA or remotely via a dial-up connection.

BuckWare XD is a dispensary management software solution.

It ensures the security of raw material and recipe data, creates new recipes and batches, provides accurate weighing, communicates directly with warehouse inventory files and provides secure electronic reports on demand.

BuckWare XD ensures the correct ingredients and weights are used for all recipes, maintains quality control, improves productivity and reduces the amount of paperwork.
