The AsepticsD size ASDMicro pharmaceutical spray dryer from Niro is the smallest of the Niro pharmaceutical spray dryers designed specifically for the aseptic processing of very small volumes of active ingredients including stabilised vaccines for intravenous injections.

It has a drying gas capacity of 30 kg/h.

The AsepticsD size ASDMicro may also be used in a glove box for additional operator protection when processing active or toxic ingredients.

The AsepticsD size ASDMicro can be operated with organic solvents (acetone, methylene chloride, ethanol, and other organic solvents) as nitrogen is used as a drying gas.

The AsepticsD size ASDMicro is one of a family of pharmaceutical production plants from Niro ranging from the PSD-1 to the PSD-7 with drying gas capacities from 80-4000 kg/h.
