New Sales and Marketing Director for NPS
Frans K.A Maas has been appointed as Group Director Sales and Marketing for Niro Pharma Systems (NPS), a part of the GEA Group, based in Collette in Belgium

His job will be to drive the sales and marketing operations for NPS in all locations worldwide working closely with the business units in Europe and the NPS operations in Asia and the US.
Frans will be the successor to Milo de Naeghel who, after 40 years working in the capital goods industry, will retire at the end of this year.
Frans is 43 years old and lives in the Netherlands.

He will be based at Collette (Belgium).
Previously he spent 4 years as a business consultant, 10 years with General Electric and 4 years with BOC Edwards Pharmaceutical Systems in various manufacturing, sales and general management roles.
He is looking forward to using his considerable experience of international business and building multi-cultural teams to bring tangible benefits to NPS and its customers.
Talking about his new role Frans said that was able to offer an objective view of the applications and opportunities available for new technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.
"In the coming years the pharmaceutical industry will see many changes caused by continued industrial globalisation, the drive to generics, the growth of the biological sector and the explosion of the Asian markets," he said.
"Our prime growth will come from the supply of integrated systems and our success will be determined by our ability to limit project risk and provide excellent value for our customers throughout the whole product life cycle.
We want to lead this transition by using the technologies within NPS to meet our customers needs and give them a competitive advantage.
I am delighted to be part of such a dynamic organisation at this exciting time".
