Echotrek ultrasonic pulse-echo level measurement systems are available in a range of sensor materials and styles, for use on tanks from 4 to 50 metres high.
Always at the forefront of technology in the field of control and measurement of level, for both liquids and solids, microprocessor based systems were introduced in 1984.
First exports were of ultrasonic sensors to other level product manufacturers, but in 1989 the "compact" ultrasonic level transmitter, a sensor with built-in electronics, was exported, using the Nivelco brand name.
The whole family of Nivelco level control and measurement products now includes capacitance, vibrating rod/fork, and float-operated level switches, plus hydrostatic bore-hole and tank level measurement systems.
All products are designed and manufactured according to ISO9001 standards in a modern factory on the outskirts of Budapest, which employs over 100 people, with extensive R and D and production facilities.
The Nivelco sales organisation has established permanent export sales offices in Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia and Austria, with a network of local distributors.
For the UK, Nivelco products are sold via Eurogauge Co Ltd in East Grinstead (www.eurogauge.co.uk).
The markets served spread across the whole of industry, and vary according to the interests of the local agents.
Whilst initially most applications and products sold were in the grain and powder handling industry, more recently water treatment contractors have accounted for a significant proportion of production output.
Building on this experience, Nivelco looks to the future with confidence of continued ultrasonic and level measurement technology success in liquids and powders/solids.
New for 2001 is the EchoTREK range - The Next Generation of compact level transmitters, the product pioneered by Nivelco in 1989.
