Self-cleaning level switch handles pressures up to 25bar at up to 160C.

Detecting powders with densities as low as 0,05kg/dm3 or any granular with a diameter up to 10mm, the Solitel level sensor has a standard polished sensor and a self-cleaning feature that prevents deposit to settle on the probe.

These important features improve reliability by eliminating false alarms.

The unit responds to level within less than 2s (or 5s following field selectable setting) by means of an integrated 5A SPDT relay or a "solid state" output, and is field selectable to high/low level failsafe.

The solid state output permits direct connection to a PLC, or to an external load.

The status of the output is visible by means of an LED built into the cover of the unit.

The sensor operates using vibrating rod technology, whereby an inner rod establishes a harmonic balance with the outside rod.

When in contact with media, the outer rod will be dampened and this disturbs the balance.

This effect will trigger the alarm.

The device is available with a standard insertion length of 235mm, or a rigid extended rod up to 3m or cable extended sensor up to 20m.
