The NECR (National Engineering and Construction Recruitment) exhibition will be held at the Birmingham NEC on 23 and 24 November 2007 and at the Novotel, Hammersmith in London on 30 November and 1 December 2007 NECR, the largest engineering and construction recruitment event in the UK has roles on offer covering all areas of the industry including: aerospace, automotive, mechanical, electronics, software and defence, construction, civil and structural engineering, transport and facilities management

The University Challenge gives teams from universities across the country the chance to compete against each other to design, build and test their inventions in a challenging task to win a prize of GBP750.

The National Engineering and Construction Recruitment Exhibition is run in association with the Daily and Sunday Telegraph, and is supported by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Institution of Chemical Engineers and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers as well as the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
