Mail Manager provides powerful facilities that allow Email to be quickly retrieved at a later date, creating the quality assurance trail that is essential in any busy office environment.
Email is filed using conventions that can be pre-set to fit each company's standards.
These standards can be set locally by each user or by the IT manager at the point of installation and locked down.
As a result, anyone involved on a particular project can find archived mail easily.
Mail Manager also facilitates teamwork and delegation by allowing team leaders to mark mail as seen by them and assign tasks.
Once installed, outgoing emails initiate a prompt to file the message and recently used locations are offered.
Full search facilities are provided via the Mail Manager toolbar.
As a result, the product is both simple and unobtrusive; Mail Manager also features an enterprise deployment tool, making rollout fast and painless.
"The vast majority of business-to-business communication is now conducted by e-mail," explained Alan Ogden, an Oasys Associate involved in Mail Manager development.
"However, much of this information is lost in personal email accounts, or archived in an inefficient manner.
Mail Manager solves these problems".
Mail Manager allows information to be archived in public folders, private folders or on a file server.
The latter allows all files including Word, Excel etc to be managed together, stored together and ultimately archived together.
As a result it can be used on almost any scale within large or small businesses.
"Although the first application of Mail Manager was within Arup, it is now being used in all sizes of organisation," continued Ogden.
A 30 day demonstration copy of QuickMarkMail Manager will be available to download from the website, with copies retailing from GBP102.00 per user licence (reducing to GBP40.00 per user licence for 100 + licences).
