A power module is available for the ODU-Mac modular connection system, providing single or three-phase power output connection for servomotors, automatic motor drives, solenoid valves and other drives

ODU has introduced a power module for its ODU-Mac modular connection system to provide single or three-phase power output connection for servomotors, automatic motor drives, solenoid valves and other drives The component has three contacts, each rated at 40A, and has been MIL tested to 7,500V

Heavy duty, ODU-Mac can be built into control panels or fitted in separate terminal housings and consists of a system of frames, plastic insulation bodies and removable contacts.

Various modules can accept a mix of services including signals, high current, compressed air, fibre optics and high frequency.

It was originally developed for production line testing systems but now is widely used by OEMs, particularly in medical equipment, instrumentation manufacture and industrial automation.
