Fluid handling specialists Omnifit and Bio-Chem Valve show their extensive range of high purity chromatography columns, connectors, bottle caps, solenoid valves and pumps at Pittcon 2004 in Chicago

Fluid handling specialists Omnifit and Bio-Chem Valve will be showcasing their extensive range of high purity chromatography columns, connectors, bottle caps, solenoid valves and pumps at this year's Pittcon meeting in Chicago, Illinois.

The Omnifit sales and marketing organisation was recently merged with that of Bio-Chem Valve, a sister company within the Halma Group.

The combined product lines now provide a complete range of inert components for OEM and end-user fluid handling applications.

Particular prominence at this year's show will be given to the Omnifit new liquid chromatography columns.

Ideal for bio-separations and other analytical and semi-preparative laboratory applications, they are also suitable for general research and production use.

The company will also be exhibiting its rotary valves, tubing, connectors, bottle caps, filters, adaptors and fittings.

In addition to its extensive existing range of inert valves and pumps, Bio-Chem Valve will be showing several new products, including a manifold-mountable pivot valve.

Designed for controlling high purity or aggressive fluids in medical and laboratory instrumentation, it has 2- and 3-way manifold configurations, which share an identical footprint allowing easy, efficient and interchangeable installation.

Experts will be on hand to answer questions about both product ranges and provide advice on any fluid handling issues.
