New location for Omron Software Product Centre

Omron, a global leader in automation, has invested in its UK based software product support centre with a move to new offices on the Solent Business Park, near Fareham, Hampshire

The European centre provides automation software support for Omron products globally.

The new office houses both the Omron Software Product Development and the Software Marketing teams, and has been appointed to a high standard reflecting the Omron brand identity.

The Software Product Centre was previously based in Fareham, and the new offices are 500 metres from the previous site.

Set amongst other leading companies, the Solent Business Park offers a high quality office campus environment.

The new Omron office features a plaza, flexible training room and a video conference room.

The move to new offices represents recognition from Omron Europe on the importance of software in automation.

The Software Product Centre is an Omron global centre of excellence, with software teams developing configuration, programming and visualisation software.

It contributes to the progression of leading products such as CX-One.

This allows users to build, configure and programme a host of devices such as PLCs, HMIs and motion-control systems and networks using just one software package.
