Omni16c Annunciators have been successfully assessed as suitable to be used in safety related applications of Safety Integrity Level 1 in accordance with IEC61508:2000, making it first in its field
Omni16c Annunciators have been successfully assessed as suitable to be used in safety related applications of Safety Integrity Level 1 in accordance with IEC61508:2000 As of January 2004 all Omni16C Annunciators can be applied to safety related applications making it a forerunner in its field
With Annunciators often being integral to the monitoring of the safe functioning of the process plant this is an important step in the development history of Omni16c.
The Omni16 Annunciator was assessed by a TUV certified functional Safety Expert.
Certification and Test reports are available from Omniflex.
Omniflex offer expert assistance with SSF and PFD determination and also run introductory training courses on IEC61508.
