Omniterm Fibre Optic Transmitter and Fibre Optic Receiver modules provide the ability to send a digital contact signal up to 10km over a single optical fibre, in a fail safe system

Forming part of the extensive Omniflex range of industrial instrumentation, the Omniterm Fibre Optic Transmitter and Fibre Optic Receiver modules provide the ability to send a digital contact signal up to 10km over a single optical fibre Each module has an LED to indicate the state of the input and output contacts and the presence of instrument power

When the contact on the Fibre Optic Transmitter module is closed, the relay output on the Fibre Optic Receiver will be energised.

Fail safety is a key feature in the design and great care has been taken to ensure the highest level of reliability.
