OPCTI to provide training for Citect

An OPC Training Institute product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jun 3, 2009

The OPC Training Institute has been selected by Citect, a Schneider Electric company, as its OPC training provider.

This follows the completion of on-site OPC workshop training sessions for technical support employees.

OPCTI workshops provide automation and IT professionals with a training programme that enables them to quickly take on the challenging task of establishing a robust communication infrastructure.

'The Certified OPC Professional (COP) training has helped improve our OPC troubleshooting skills,' says Karun Sukhwani, global support manager at Citect by Schneider Electric.

'OPC technical support issues that would typically frustrate our end-users are now resolved quickly and efficiently.

'This achieves significant reductions in our support costs.

The OPC Training Institute offers two styles of training.

Public training provides end-users, integrators and vendors with the knowledge they require to design and deploy projects that use OPC technology.

Similarly, OPCTI's private workshops cater to the training requirements of specific corporations.
