New optoelectronic sensing of chemicals
An Optocem.Net workshop "The need for new sensors" will present the latest developments and roadmaps for the development and commercial exploitation of optical gas and aqueous chemical sensors
Within OptoCem.Net the term "chemical sensing" is intended to include gas sensing, liquid and solid chemical sensing, as well as the sensing of suspended solids in liquids (particle counting), particulates and other airborne materials.
By appealing to the whole UK optoelectronic chemical sensing community, the objective of OptoCem.Net is to create a vibrant network comprising Universities, Technology Transfer Organisations (TTOs), manufacturing and user companies and Government Agencies which exchange knowledge, from partnerships, projects and joint ventures, at technical, commercial and investment levels.
OptoCem.net is seeking information on market requirements for optical chemical sensors in the water and waste treatment industry, as a target industry, to disseminate information and seek solutions amongst the collaborating member organisations.
