Following the success of the OptoCem.Net Opportunity Exploitation Workshop at MTEC07, meetings are now focused on forming consortia to take specific commercial opportunities forward
Following the success of the OptoCem.Net Opportunity Exploitation Workshop at MTEC07, we are planning a series of follow-up meetings focused on forming consortia to take specific commercial opportunities forward The Water Opportunities meeting will discuss: (1) The detection of oil in and on water: both surface and mixed, but at levels down to ppt
Suggested applications are in water, wastewater treatment and marine.
(2) Effluent discharge: extending the WRc Loadmon Project to the measurement of the processing load for either effluent from a works or influent to a treatment works.
The Water Opportunities Meeting will take place on Friday 20 April 2007 at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, 1 Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London, SW1H 9JJ.
Meeting start time 1100, Finishing at 1530 (flexible).
