How to achieve a new and clean process line
When planning an installation of a new stainless steel process pipe line it is important to understand the importance of using the best materials and techniques to ensure it is clean when installed.
The OrbiLine system uses an internal clamping mandrel, that has a range of individual fingers which when expanded automatically align the parts being welded.
A range of accessories allow the system to be used to clamp up inside ling lengths of tube and pipe.
Also designed into the clamping head is a series of holes, that are used to distribute a backing gas to the weld joint area.
As the gas is being applied directly to the joint area purging times are drastically reduced, as is gas usage.
When the welding cycle is complete the OrbiLine is un-clamped and extracted from the tube.
Once the cycle has finished the clamping system returns to its original size, which allows it to pass the weld even when an internal weld bead is achieved.
