Digital timer and refrigeration controllers

Orchard Electronics introduces the 'S' range of low cost compact, digital refrigeration controllers, plus a matching multi-function digital timer, to its expanding range of industrial process controls

The new range of controllers are housed in a space saving 33mm x 65mm panel mounting case with a bright 2 digit LED display (Model SJ62) or in a 33mm x 75mm housing for the 3 digit LED display, (models SX63 and SX73).

The S range is fully programmable via a front keypad and offers extensive features: 1 or 2 NTC or PTC thermistor probe inputs; up to 3 x 8 Amp (250Vac) relay outputs; programmable defrost functions; defrost cycles activated manually or programmed to operate automatically; supply voltages 24/230Vac or 12Vac/dc depending on the model.

The TX33 multi-range/multi-function digital timer is housed in a style and colour matching 33mm x 75mm housing with a bright 4 digit LED display.

All timing parameters are programmed via the front panel keypad, with additional input connections for stop/start and reset functions.

The timing modes available are 'On-delay', 'Interval' and 2 variations of cyclic timing.

Timing ranges are selectable up to 9999 hours and can be programmed to count up or down.

Timed output is via a change over relay contact rated at 8 Amps (250Vac).

Supply voltage 12Vac/dc.

The TX33 can also be supplied fitted with an internal re-chargeable battery to maintain program integrity, when external supply voltages have failed.
