The new versatile ELK3 and ELK4 series of temperature/process controllers from Orchard Electronics are packed with new features: single or dual displays, auto-tune, universal PSU and Modbus outputs

The new versatile ELK3 and ELK4 series of temperature/process controllers from Orchard Electronics are packed with new features.

The new compact ELK3 series now offers single or dual display controllers both housed in the popular 33x75mm size case.

The new range of low cost single and dual loop PID auto tune controllers now not only offer programmable input for thermocouple, PT100 or NTC/PTC in one model but also 100-240Vac supply voltage.

Of course, 12 and 24Vac/dc supply voltages remain available.

Other new features include, up to 4 digitally selectable set points and on many models, up to 4 x SSR or relay outputs.

A sampling rate of 8 times per second adds to the ELK3 ability to give accurate process control.

A major new option also offers users who wish to programme more than 1 controller with the same parameters, the ability to quickly and easily down-load parameters in a matter of seconds, using the ELK3 programming key.

The above new features can also be found in the ELK4 range of 1/16 DIN (48x48mm) controllers plus the addition benefits of up to 3 analogue outputs and the ability to control motorised valves.

Both the ELK3 and ELK4 series offer the option of RS485 communications with Modbus-RTU (JBUS) protocol.
