Vibratory screen combine low cost and versatility

An Orthos (Engineering) product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jun 19, 2008

The Allgaier VRS vibratory screen, being shown at the RWM Show by Orthos, combines the lowest cost of operation with versatility and ease of use for wet and dry screening, dedusting and dewatering.

Made of stainless steel with an anti-vibration stand, the unit provides advanced protection, control and classification screening, with up to four size fractions and fast, simple vibrator adjustment.

Easy screen cloth replacement is featured, with user-friendly clamping screw technology that guarantees the highest tightness.

A ball cleaning system and flexible connections are also available for the machine.

Technical features include the choice of one, two or three screening decks, displacement through rubber elements, internal screen frames and a special flange-mounted unbalanced motor with adjustable eccentric cams.

Four models built from standardised components cover 600mm to 1500mm outside diameters and 0.28m to 1.59m screening areas.

RWM is at the NEC from 16-18 September, see http://www.processingtalk.com/news/rey/rey000.html.
