Copper plant for Centenario Copper in
Chile
Outotec has agreed with Centenario Copper Chile for the delivery of a copper solvent extraction and electrowinning plant, for the Franke project, located in northern Chile
The Outotec scope of supply covers engineering, technology and proprietary equipment supplies, construction, commissioning, and performance tests The Franke copper plant will incorporate the latest Outotec technologies, such as the solvent extraction plant, including VSF (Vertical Smooth Flow) technology, the tank farm, and the electrowinning plant - using the Outotec permanent cathode and stripping technologies
