The Chlorometer Duo is calibrated to monitor residual chlorine using the internationally recognised DPD standard method.
This test reveals both free and total chlorine in the 0-5 mg/litre range.
The higher range test uses the well established iodine release technique for total chlorine analysis across the 0-200 mg/litre range.
Low range resolution is 0.01 mg/litre and high range is 1 mg/litre.
Designed for fast and simple repetitive testing, each test takes about one minute.
A reagent tablet is added to a 10 ml sample, the test tube is inserted in the meter and a button is pressed.
Results are displayed immediately on a 10 mm high LCD screen.
This instrument has a splash-proof casing and sealed optics.
Blank recognition and zero setting are automatic.
Supplied complete with carrying case, belt loop, test reagents and test tubes, optional color standards can be used to check calibration.
Two 1.5V batteries deliver approximately 20,000 readings between changes and power is conserved by auto switch off.
A recalibration service can help users to meet Drinking Water Inspectorate and internal quality assurance procedures.
