More than 14 leading ethanol manufacturers have elected to use Pavilion solutions to achieve emissions compliance, reduce energy costs, increase ethanol production, and enhance product yields.
"In just a year, we've seen an excellent return on investment from Pavilion," said Glacial Lakes Energy plant manager, David Culver.
"Pavilion enables us to control the distillation columns and molecular sieve processes, which are challenging to manage optimally and yet critical to achieve our operating objectives - more, high quality ethanol for less.

Furthermore, we are able to continuously reduce our energy usage.
And in today's marketplace, being able to produce more ethanol at higher yields equals real money".
As the demand for alternative fuels grows and manufacturers seek strategies to quickly capitalise on record-high ethanol prices, Pavilion provides an effective technology solution to enable the production of more high quality ethanol for less.
Simultaneously, ethanol manufacturers can drive down energy costs, combating the sky rocketing prices for natural gas.
This helps ethanol producers achieve two key goals: more efficient use of energy and a "greener" end product.
Pavilion software - Pavilion8 - combines powerful predictive and dynamic control capabilities which allow manufacturers to more effectively control complex processes exhibited in the production of ethanol.
With the Pavilion control solution, ethanol manufacturers have improved the performance of the dryer, evaporator, thermal oxidiser, mole sieve distillation and other stages of the production cycle.
Most customers report a payback in 2 - 6 months on projects completed in 8 - 16 weeks.
"As consumers clamour for 'greener' fuel sources, ethanol companies are working to meet demand," said Pavilion Technologies CEO, Ralph Carter.
"We are honoured that leaders like Broin Companies, Glacial Lakes, and Badger State Ethanol look to us as a partner that will help deliver rapid value".
The Pavilion Ethanol Solution has helped major producers increase production capacity and yield, reduce costs, enhance product quality and maintain environmental compliance.
Pavilion provides a suite of advanced process control and emissions compliance applications across all key areas of the manufacturing process - from milling to distillation.
The Pavilion Ethanol Solution leverages the powerful Pavilion8 technology, an integrated software suite which enables ethanol companies to drive operational performance to desired business objectives while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Pavilion8 combines powerful technology for modelling, control, monitoring, analysis, visualisation and integration, combined to provide targeted solutions, delivering faster time-to-value and greater cumulative value than alternative solutions.
