Pavilion Technologies software, Pavilion8, has enabled leading global manufacturers like BP and Nestle to reduce energy use by 7% and resulting emissions by up to 30%

Pavilion Technologies, a world leader in advanced process control (APC) and environmental compliance solutions, today announced that its software, Pavilion8, has enabled leading global manufacturers like BP and Nestle to reduce energy use by 7% and resulting emissions by up to 30% This message comes after the Carbon Disclosure Project, backed by GBP17 trillion of institutional investments, put pressure on the world's top companies to limit their emissions

"In today's climate companies are asked to limit the amount of emissions from their plants and factories and undertake a three-dimensional look at their operations - economic, environmental, and social," said Pavilion Technologies CEO and President, Ralph Carter.

"Many of our customers do this now by using our technology to reduce their emissions and energy use each production day, not only because it's good for the planet and their employees, but because it saves them money.

And these companies should receive a premium in their share price for making sound short-term and long-term investments.

By reducing energy use 3 - 5% and increasing the use of alternative fuels, many of our customers can reduce emissions by as much as 20 - 30%.

The economic impact is in the hundreds of thousands or in excess of a million annually, depending on the price of energy and fuel source".

Carter continued: "Pavilion software also allows companies to monitor their emissions (CO HRVOC, SOx, NOx,) in real-time and understand both what changes to make to reduce emissions and how to accurately account for emissions to participate in voluntary cap and trade programmes.".
