The NDC houses in excess of GBP2.5m of valves and actuators and will also be the base for the Pegler and Louden Technical, QA, Design, Assembly and Product Test teams.
Pegler and Louden was acquired by the BSS Group PLC in the autumn of 2003 and has been integrated with BSS Flow Control Solutions to form a new, independent, stand-alone operation.
As a direct consequence of the close links between Pegler and Louden and BSS Industrial, customers will benefit by being able to arrange to draw down specialist stock from any of the BSS Industrial 59 branches across the UK and Ireland.
Pegler and Louden customers will also be supported by a 16 strong national, external sales team and will enjoy next-day deliveries.
As Paul Miller explains, "We have amalgamated two significant suppliers to the process control industry and look forward to building a truly powerful operation.
BSS financial strength and significant market presence is already helping our procurement teams.
We are committed to continuing to build our reputation for expert advice for process control customers".
Pegler and Louden are distributors for Flowserve, ITT, Westlock and Crane in the UK and Ireland.
