Pegler and Louden - the BSS Industrial specialist in valves and actuators - has strengthened its product portfolio by adding Stafsjo knife gate valves to its range.

The Stafsjo XV knife gate valve is a compact bi-directional valve with full bore.

It incorporates good flow characteristics and offers simple maintenance, making it suitable for both liquid and dry materials.

Stafsjo valves are suitable for use in a wide range of process industries including pulp and paper, mining, chemical and sugar refining.

They can be used as an isolating valve and in parts of the automated process for materials with considerable amounts of particles and fibres.

The flexible design of Stafsjo knife gate valves makes it possible to equip them with different types of automatic and manual actuators, depending on valve type and size.

Paul Miller, General Manager for Pegler and Louden, comments: "Pegler and Louden is always looking to broaden its product range and partner with leading manufactures like Stafsjo so that we can supply the best products to our customers.

High quality, flexible design and high performance are just some of the key benefits of the Stafsjo valves.

More importantly, they are easy to actuate." Pegler and Louden is one of the industry's leading specialist providers of valves and flow control products.

Its `Single Source Solution' strategy provides customers with a one-stop shop for valve and actuator needs.

By delivering proven technical expertise and knowledge, Pegler and Louden can offer a true partnership approach for customers.
