Off-the-shelf linear motion is now more
powerful

With a maximum thrust force of 560N and typical payload of up to 30kg, the new LCB060 compact linear actuators allow cost-effective high-performance linear motion systems with off-the-shelf products

With a maximum thrust force of 560N and typical payload of up to 30kg, the new LCB060 compact linear actuators from the Electromechanical division of Parker Hannifin, the world's largest manufacturer of motion and control technologies, provide an ideal basis for developing cost-effective high-performance linear motion systems using standard off-the-shelf products The new units offer a maximum thrust of 160N with typical payloads up to 6kg, and compliment the existing Parker LCB040 models

Actuators in the LCB range feature an external sliding guidance system with an integrated timing-belt drive.

Suitable for use with either stepper or servomotors, they can be supplied with a free end shaft to accommodate the customer's own motor, or with a variety of ready-fitted motor and gearbox options.

Matching controllers are also available from Parker.

Maximum stroke length for the new LCB060 actuator is 5.5m, while that for the LCB040 is 2m.

Both models can operate at accelerations up to 20m/s2, and velocities up to 8m/s, and have excellent dynamic characteristics.

LCB compact linear actuators have a wide range of applications, including pick-and-place, mechanical handling, transfer units for presses, and high-accuracy positioners.

They require almost no maintenance throughout their long working lives, and their dry-running drive system means that there is no exposed lubricant to attract contaminants.

Further decisive benefits include quiet operation and low power consumption.

Typical delivery time for the Parker Hannifin LCB-series compact linear actuators is just seven days.

Full technical data, including ready-to-use CAD files, are readily available, making it easy for engineers to integrate these versatile products into both new and existing designs. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin Electromechanical Automation ...
