More actuated valve position sensor
solutions

Pepperl and Fuchs announce a new line of AC/DC sensors for quarter turn valves in their puck and sensor style range

The new line has a voltage range of 20-253V AC/DC it is designed to work with most control systems Available in either pre-cabled or connector versions, and mountable on any Namur standard valve

The sensor will work with our existing range of pucks including the variable stroke puck.

Any voltage and any rotation angle, does that turn your head?.

Pepperl and Fuchs have been the major inductive sensor supplier to the valve industry for many years.

With different valve styles and requirements, we have supplied a huge range of product to all.

With actuated quarter turn valves, we have seen two distinct markets develop over the last few years.

For the huge traditional "Box Market" where sensors pick up on targets rotating on a cam, and all of the assembly is mounted in a box, we have been leading the way supplying the "Box" manufacturers with products such as the renowned NJ2-V3-N and barrel sensors with some even available for use down to -50C.

For the newer "open solution" or "puck and sensor" market, where the sensors are mounted in their own IP65 housing and sense a rotating target directly mounted onto the actuator shaft, Pepperl+Fuchs have satisfied the market for over ten years with the compact F25 style, the innovative F31 and the field wire-able F31K with its own built in terminal block.

As with all of our products, the Pepperl and Fuchs open solution is cleverly designed so as to be quick and efficient to mount with no set up, assembly or calibration required.

Just tighten the three mounting screws and you are running. Request a free brochure from Pepperl+Fuchs GB ...
