These features make the BA-series ideal as the filtration component of a breathing air system or for food and packaging applications.
The unique design of the BA-series incorporates both filtration stages in one filter housing.
The first coalescing stage removes particulate and liquid droplets.
The Parker Q-type media used in this stage is a micro-glass coalescer with a difference.
A built-in pleated pre-filter ensures a long life and in combination with a low-pressure drop the cost of ownership for users is significantly lower.
The second stage of the BA-series filter is activated carbon.
This removes hydrocarbon vapours from the compressed air supply.
Whilst the BA-series will remove particulate, liquid droplets and hydrocarbons, it cannot remove toxic gases such as carbon monoxide.
This is the same for all coalescing and activated carbon filters and why it's best to use a carbon monoxide monitor to check for this taste and odour free gas.
BA-series filters make life easier since there's only one filter to install.
Parker has also thought through the maintenance issues and offers convenient BA Series maintenance kits.
The kits contain one coalescing filter element and two adsorber filters plus replacement seals.
