HeptaDry series of dry screw pumps

A Pfeiffer Vacuum product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Nov 19, 2007

The new HeptaDry line of dry pumps from Pfeiffer Vacuum is very well suited for low and medium-vacuum applications, being designed for all areas in which oil-free vacuum is required

Rugged and dependable, they offer pumping speeds of from 100 to 600 m3/h.

HeptaDry pumps are suitable for use as stand-alone pumps for processes of up to 10e-1mbar.

And when used in combination with Pfeiffer Vacuum Roots pumps, they supply an ultimate pressure of up to 5 x 10e-3mbar.

This good ultimate pressure enables them to be used throughout a broad range of pressures.

One special advantage consists of their coated, single-piece, variable-pitch rotors.

The internal compression makes for low energy consumption, and low operating costs.

And the innovative design and slow speed of these pumps is gentler to bearings and seals, producing higher reliability.

High-quality axial face seals between bearings and suction chamber also afford increased reliability.
