Autumn 2005 Profibus courses in Ireland
The next dates for Profibus training courses for installers and engineers scheduled and organised by Profibus Ireland are announced
The installers course is a one-day course covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the Profibus network installation.
The course will cover: Introduction to Profibus DP and PA networks, Profibus networks installation guidelines, Diagnosing common Profibus faults, and Intrinsically Safe Profibus networks.
There are also practical sessions after each course module.
The course concludes with a theoretical and practical examination.
The successful candidates will become "Certified Profibus Installers".
The Profibus engineers course is a 3.5-day course covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the Profibus networks.
The course will cover: Profibus Overview, Bus Physics and Wiring, Profibus Basics, Profibus network components, Master Class 1 and 2, Bus parameters, GSD Files, Profibus Telegrams, Multi-Master Systems, Extended Diagnostics, Bus Monitors, and DP-Extensions.
There are also practical sessions after each course module.
The course concludes with a theoretical and practical examination.
The successful candidates will be issued a Certificate valid for two years.

Mon 23 May 2005 Certified Profibus Installers Course.
Tue 24-Fri 27 May 2005 Certified Profibus Engineers Course.
