These compact modules with integrated fieldbus interfaces are equipped with 16 digital inputs and outputs, additional modules are available for Interbus and Profibus fieldbus systems
The function of each I/O channel in the Profibus network is assigned simply by connecting an actuator or sensor.
No parameters need to be set.
The Inline Block IO system also interfaces with the commonly used fieldbus systems of Interbus, CANopen and DeviceNet.
The connection terminals are pluggable and can be quickly removed without the need to release the wiring when installing and maintaining the unit.
The sensors and actuators are connected using the two or three-wire connection method; no additional terminal levels are required.
The connections have been colour-coded for quick and easy installation.
This makes the station easy to understand, and wiring errors are avoided.
Due to their flat design with a height of just 55 mm, the modules are well suited to be used in particularly small terminal boxes.
The uninterrupted communication between the Inline Block IO modules and the modular Inline system means that the user has access to the entire signal range in one single IO system.
